All monies paid for wedding and/or cabin reservations are non-refundable. We are reserving a date, time and staff services along with venue for you, and you alone. This means, that we will be turning away business for your particular date, location and time frame. Some reservations/services may be rescheduled if given at least 60 days notice; in these circumstances, The Preacher's House reserves the right to recover any, and all, additional incurred fees, from client relating to rescheduling process.
Once your payment is processed and the package is booked additions may be made up to 14 days prior to your wedding. However, you may not downgrade or switch packaging. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The new supreme court ruling allows couples of any sexual orientation to now purchase a marriage license anywhere in the United States. We respect the rights of all people to marry whomever they choose. We also respect the religious freedoms and choices that are afforded to Americans. It is a core belief of our company, that marriage is between one man and one woman. It is a direct conflict of our personal beliefs to perform a ceremony that involves a couple of the same sex. Our company only performs religious Christian ceremonies, performed by Christian church clergy. Our company has never performed any other type of services in its history. With all respect to you and your endeavor, we would like to recommend the Gatlinburg and Sevierville Chamber of Commerce for reference. If you contact them and let them know what you are looking for, they will be able to point you in the right direction! We do not discriminate based on race, sexual orientation, etc, we have always welcomed guests from all walks of life at our venue and will continue to do so. We simply cannot perform the services you are inquiring about because it directly conflicts with our religious beliefs and we only specialize in religious Christian ceremonies.
Property tours information
The Preacher's House is happy to schedule a tour for our wedding locations upon request. However, these tours can only be booked Monday - Thursday.
We will try to accommodate weekend requests, if we can schedule them in between our other wedding events.
Photo and video policies
It is understood that any and all proofs, sample prints, digital photography/videography media and negatives remain the property of The Preacher's House & Gatlinburg Photo. All photographs created by the photographer are copyright protected. It is a violation of federal copyright law to copy, scan, or allow photographs the photographer has created to be re-printed, duplicated, digitally reproduced, copied, scanned or altered (digitally, or otherwise) without the photographer's express, written permission.
The client agrees to purchase wedding photography prints directly from the photographer unless in possession of the digital negatives which may be purchased seperately. The negatives/digital files are our sole property, unless purchased by the client.
YOUR IMAGES ARE ONLY KEPT FOR A MAXIMUM OF SIXTY (60) DAYS AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN SENT TO YOU VIA EMAIL OR PHOTO CD!
Our guests should also be made aware that we do not allow outside photography vendors at our locations. This process is in place in order to maintain a high quality end-product for our couples and business image. The sanctity and ambiance of your ceremony is very important to us. This policy eliminates excessive noisy camera clicks, winding camera noises and prevents guests leaving their seats for photography during your wedding ceremony. We only ask that our guests be considerate and not interrupt the professional photography services that our brides and grooms have paid us to perform. Imagine 12-20 of your family members standing alongside your professional photographer saying: "Wait a minute! Can you do that again, I missed it!" Not only is this frustrating for every bride and groom, but is very interrupting to the thought process of your photographer. Your photographer has a short period of time to capture the amazing photos that our couples expect. This day is happening one time.
